We have always offered healthy selections, but what differentiates us is how we present healthier selections to associates. Instead of simply labeling these selections as “healthy choices,” we insist on incorporating whole grains, fresh produce, leafy greens and healthful fats into all of our entrees.

The preparation of farm-fresh food is a Parkhurst Gold Standard. Through FarmSource, we strive to purchase more than 20 percent of our food from some of the finest local and family-owned farms that grow the highest-quality fruits and vegetables. 

Demographic shifts in corporate dining reflect the growing number of telecommuters and associates who work flexible, nontraditional hours. These guests have different dining service expectations. Convenience-oriented and to-go options, such as deli-style sandwiches, pre-packaged fruit, desserts, salads, sushi and soups, are all prepared with fresh ingredients for our guests. These food items are labeled with a product description of where our foods are grown, nutritional values, price point and reheating instructions for hot items.

And as our sustainability initiatives demonstrate, our commitment to healthier lifestyles includes actions such as recycling spent fryer oil and using biodegradable service ware that protect the health of our planet.
