Special Venues

Parkhurst is the offsite and onsite caterer of choice for several special venues who may not have the full-service facilities to operate dining services. We also provide our catering expertise to members of our community who wish to host a special event or party.

Farm-fresh food is prepared by our talented chefs and bakers from scratch at nearby Parkhurst-serviced locations. By preparing menu items from scratch, we control what’s in the food. We have always offered healthy selections, but what differentiates us is how we present healthier selections to your guests. Instead of simply labeling these selections as “healthy choices,” we insist on incorporating whole grains, leafy greens, fresh produce and healthful fats into all of our entrees. Whether you’ve made a lifestyle choice or have specific dietary needs, it shouldn’t stop you from enjoying our food. We also offer a variety of food options for special diets including guests with food allergies.

Choose from a wide variety of menu choices and multiple levels of special event catering. Our talented and experienced team is available to assist you with a variety of spectacular events, including custom weddings, corporate award presentations, holiday parties, gourmet wine dinners and gala fundraisers. Our expert staff and innovative chefs will work with you from start to finish customizing the perfect event featuring elegant, world-class food and service.

Countless hours of preparation have been put into creating the perfect menu. How we serve and present the food is as important to a successful event as the quality of the food. Our past events have received numerous accolades in various regional publications and have provided positive exposure for our clients. You can be assured that Parkhurst will exceed your expectations when we plan and cater your next special event.

We are proud to support several special venues, including: The Children's Museum of Pittsburgh, The Carnegie Museum of Art and History, The Carnegie Science Center, The Andy Warhol Museum, Powdermill Nature Reserve (the biological research station of Carnegie Museum of Natural History), The August Wilson Center for African American Culture, Hartwood Acres, Stage AE and Google, where guests enjoy Parkhurst food every day.
