Food is Hempfield Native's Work, Hobby, Passion

Jamie Moore is all about food.  Ever since he can remember, he has been passionate about food. When he was a child, he loved making dishes for friends and family. He even married a farmer’s daughter.

It makes perfect sense that Mr. Moore, who grew up in Hempfield and now lives in Mt. Lebanon, is director of sourcing and sustainability for Eat’n Park Hospitality Group.

He said he loves his job because it’s all about fresh food. He ensures that the 70 Eat’n Park restaurants and the company’s other restaurants — Six Penn, The Porch and Hello Bistro plus Parkhurst Dining and Cura Hospitality — use local foods in their menus.
