Parkhurst to Expand into PNC Tower
Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

Parkhurst Dining will soon operate the store in the lobby of the 33-story Tower at PNC Plaza.

With the working name of PNC Marketplace, the store will offer some prepared foods like egg salad and wraps as well as fresh produce like bananas, apples and oranges. It also will carry candy and gum, chips, and healthier food options like hard-boiled eggs and cottage cheese.

The store will be patterned after 2 Market, a small outlet in 2 PNC Plaza that offers snacks, a limited assortment of bakery goods and prepared foods, yogurt, pudding, oatmeal, coffee and other grab-and-go items.

As in 2 PNC, the store at the Tower of PNC Plaza also will be open to the public.

The store will open in conjunction with the new skyscraper, which should be ready for occupancy in the fall.
