Pittsburgh, Nov. 6, 2013 -- An exclusive tasting event will take place Friday, Nov. 8, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm in the new Yorktown Café, located on the lower level of Yorktown Hall.

Yorktown Hall is RMU's newest –and largest -- residence hall, located in the former Holiday Inn Pittsburgh Airport near the university's Moon campus. Approximately 500 students live there.

This pre-opening tasting event will include a variety of burgers, pizzas, wings, and other chef-selected items included on the menu of the new Yorktown Café, which is operated by Parkhurst Dining.

The full menu will include a wide-variety of options, from a Pittsburgh Steak Salad, layered with fresh-cut fries and steak sliders to Crab-Stuffed Portobello. For desert, the caféwill offer hand-dipped milkshakes, Brownie A la Mode, and more.

The Yorktown Caféwill officially open on Monday, Nov. 11. The caféwill be open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to midnight and from 9 a.m. to midnight on the weekends.
