Proceeds Benefit Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation

WHAT: On August 3rd, Pittsburgh-area motorcycle enthusiasts will once again ride for a cause! The Roll for a Cause motorcycle ride is just one of several fundraising events that Parkhurst Dining team members support to benefit the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation. Drivers (including Nick Camody, Chief Operating Officer, Parkhurst Dining) donate $20 to ride, $15 per additional rider, for the privilege to support the foundation, while enjoying a 100-mile ride throughout scenic Western Pennsylvania.

Roll for a Cause began in 2006 when Camody, a faithful Harley-Davidson owner and driver, had a vision to create a charity ride that encourages area motorcycle owners to help fundraise as a way to ensure our region's children in need receive proper medical care. Today, the event attracts more than 100 bikes with 140 riders, and raises an average of $4,000 per event.

Participants will also enjoy free entertainment and a complimentary picnic-style cookout with delicious food, beverages and of course famous Eat'n Park Smiley Cookies!

The ride begins at Steel City Harley-Davidson in Washington, PA, and ends at Hot Metal Harley- Davidson in West Mifflin, PA.
