Motorcycle Drivers "Roll For A Cause", Support Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh
Support Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh

WHAT: Partnering with local farms is not the only way Parkhurst Dining supports their local communities. For several years Parkhurst has embarked on a campaign to fundraise for children's hospitals in the communities they service. The Roll for a Cause Motorcycle Run and Classic Car Show is just one of several fundraising events that team members participate in which benefits the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Free Care Fund. Drivers (including Nick Camody, Chief Operating Officer, Parkhurst Dining) donate $20 to ride;$15 per additional driver for the privilege to participate in this worthy cause.

Roll for a Cause began in 2006 when Camody, a faithful Harley driver, had a vision to create a charity ride that encourages area motorcycle owners to help fundraise as a way to ensure our region’s children in need receive proper medical care. Today the event attracts more than 100 bikes with 140 riders, and raises an average of $4,000 per event.

Riders and spectators will have the opportunity to purchase chances to win several donated prizes. Participants will also enjoy free entertainment and a complimentary picnic-style cookout with delicious food, beverages and of course famous Eat’n Park Smiley Cookies!

The ride begins at Hot Metal Harley Davidson in West Mifflin, PA, on Saturday, June 30, 2012. For more information please visithttp://eatnpark.Roll4ACause.sgizmo.com/s3/
