Parkhurst Dining, Official Pittsburgh Steelers Food Service Provider, Celebrates Super Bowl "Black and Gold" Style

PITTSBURGH, PA, February 1, 2011 –As the official dining services provider to the Pittsburgh Steelers Headquarters, Parkhurst Dining does it best by serving a variety of fun and flavorful food that can be served with Pittsburgh pride at any home, office or college campus Super Bowl party!

According to Chris Fitz, district manager for Parkhurst Dining Pittsburgh business dining, college and cultural destinations, “Our creative food selections make it exciting and fun for employees, students and other guests.” Football fever menu items are available to purchase eat-in, take-out or ordered in advance for at-home catered Super Bowl parties from several Parkhurst-managed locations such as Reed Smith, Medrad, PNC and Saint Vincent College where anything black and gold (including deli rings, cupcakes, Eat’n Park Smiley Cookies, and yes, even Terrible Towel cakes) can be purchased to complement the perfect Super Bowl party!

Fitz also notes that on Friday, February 4, all Pittsburgh PNC locations will feature tailgate themed menu items including:

  • Buffalo Chicken Dip
  • Homemade Italian Sausage Sandwiches
  • Steel City Chili
  • Homemade Pierogies
  • Chipped Ham Sandwiches
  • Black and Gold Cupcakes
  • Steelers Cakes
  • Football Shaped Flat Breads
