Mercyhurst University’s Culinary Cab Welcomes Students Back to School

ERIE, PA, August 9, 2012 – Move-in days at Mercyhurst University will celebrate the official debut of The Culinary CabSM, a new “mobile” way of dining, for students returning to classes this fall semester!

Managed by Parkhurst Dining, The Culinary CabSM will help to welcome freshman on the Erie, PA Main Campus on August 25th (from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.); and on the North East Campus, August 27th (from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.) featuring a BBQ lunch. Students will also enjoy a “Walking Taco”, and a variety of American-themed street foods prepared fresh and to-order from a 12-item menu.

Specialty cab “yellow” food items will also be signature to The Culinary CabSM including homemade chocolate “cab” cookies with yellow M&M’s. Erie favorites like Smith’s hot dogs, from locally owned and operated Smith Provision, Co., Inc., will make The Culinary CabSM visitors feel right at home!
