Eat’n Park Hospitality Group Makes Training Magazine’s “Top 125” List

PITTSBURGH, PA, February 22, 2008 –Eat’n Park Hospitality Group, one of the top providers in on-site and restaurant dining, was recently chosen to Training Magazine’s “Top 125” list of outstanding international training organizations.

Eat’n Park Hospitality Group’s onsite brands, Cura Hospitality and Parkhurst Dining Services, ranked 11th among all food and hospitality companies.  According to Mitch Possinger, President, Onsite Brands, Eat’n Park Hospitality Group, “Cura’s Culinary, Service and HR Colleges, the hallmark of our company’s training; and Parkhurst’s exceptional culinary and guest services training programs, continue to help us recruit and retain talented individuals who contribute to high client and guest satisfaction – significantly higher than the hospitality industry average.”

For the seventh year in a row, Training tackled the task of ranking the top companies of employer-sponsored workforce training and development.  Each “Top 125” company was measured on quantitative (75 percent to total score) and qualitative (25 percent to total score) data.  Under the guidance of Training Magazine, an outside research and statistical data company scored companies on the data supplied by applicants.

Factors that influenced the rankings include: training tied to business; number of trainers; employee turnover and retention; leadership development; tuition assistance; corporate university; certification; dollars spent on training; percentage of payroll; and, much, much more.

"I have always been impressed with the quality and freshness of the food. I am so pleased that my son is able to have nutritionally balanced meals instead of the pure starch that I ate when I went to college. Even though my son is lean, he is a teenage boy and he eats a lot. Believe me when I tell you, he has never left the table hungry!"
