So what’s new in higher education dining for the fall semester? Students attending Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and Loyola University Maryland are checking out the new FoodU Dining App designed by Parkhurst Dining.

With FoodU, students can download the app which is compatible with their iPhone or Android. Students will find a fresh feed of the latest info on favorite dining spots including events, deals, and notes from chefs.

What’s different about FoodU is that Parkhurst goes beyond basic menu access. Our goal is to promote a more meaningful student engagement experience with:

•The latest on events & specials
•What’s open and on the menu today
•What’s cooking
•Ability to easily browse daily menus & hours of operation of each dining venue
•Helpful info on what’s local, homemade & better for you
•Alerts on favorite menu items and foods you want to avoid for special diets
